Ladies, celebrate the first day of summer with your favourite black dress and a glass of fresh lemonade! Hosted by the 6rightest, the evening will include inspirational stories from women entrepreneurs and a quick Pop Pilates sweat session followed by mindful movement. Join us LIVE 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. EST on Zoom on June 21, 2022!
Kathryn Ashby is a Digital Marketer with over 20 years of experience and Owner of kja Markets. She specializes in brand building/ management, digital marketing and creative. She’s worked with clients such as CIBC, TD Canada Trust, Ontario Place, Hydro One, Proactiv, and Trimark. She has been a lifelong entrepreneur who has always focused on mentoring and lifting up women in her life. She is passionate about female entrepreneurs who take risks and undergo many challenges to carve their place out in society. She is applauds courageous women getting started at a young age, as well as those further along in their careers who have seen a better way to do things and who take the ultimate step to change their lives. Kathryn will be sharing the story of her entrepreneurial journey with us.
Alisha E. Athanasiou is the principal of Athanasiou Law Professional Corporation, founder of Jam and Yoga, and creator of the Collaborative Learning Network. In addition to being a lawyer, Alisha has also obtained her certificate of Foundations of Applied Mindfulness from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies, completed Compassion Cultivation Training© with the Compassion Institute, as well as Mindfulness Without Borders facilitator training and Yoga teacher training at Olive Tree Yoga and Pilates. To help balance the demands of a busy schedule, Alisha relies heavily on yoga and meditation practices. Since 2018, Alisha has also been a volunteer tutor with the Pathways to Education Program. During her down time, Alisha enjoys cooking, hiking, and reading. A long-time yoga practitioner, Alisha will be leading us in a mindful movement session.
Elżbieta Chmiel is the Founder & Executive Director of the 6rightest, a Secondary School Educator and Owner of Respice Finem, a writing and translation business. She speaks three languages and holds a B.A. in European Studies and a B.Ed. in Intermediate & Secondary Education. She has taught English and French in three countries to students in every age group. Throughout her career she has worked for a collection of start-ups in media, marketing and hospitality. She is passionate about providing students with opportunities to develop their talents and pursue their ambitions. Elżbieta will be our host for the evening.
Naomi Dickson is the Creator of Omi’s Digital Products. She is a high school student and young entrepreneur. Passionate and artsy, she started selling her art and jewelry a few years ago. Naomi will be giving tips on how to start your own business as a teen entrepreneur and sharing the exciting story that led her to start Heliotrope Gifts.
Anielyn Hudson is a fitness expert who helps busy people build strength, consistency, and find joy through fun functional movement. She is the Owner of Anielates and Co-Owner of Strong Body Online. She teaches both in-person and virtual fitness classes. She currently offers Pop Pilates, Barre, Barre-lates, HIIT and Bootcamp. Anielyn will be leading us in a Pop Pilates sweat session! Don’t forget your water bottle!
